As a child, every summer my family would go camping at the Fundy National Park in New Brunswick, Canada. We camped with other families and spent our time all together. We would spend our days going on hikes, going to the lake, visiting the little town nearby, or playing games at the playground. In the evenings we would go find who had a campfire going on and all of us would sit around the fire in good company. “Pine Trees and Stars” brings us back to memories of camping trips, surrounded by pine trees and a night sky lit up with stars. The beauty of nature and the peace and stillness of the night, watching the campfire sparks flicker away from the fire. This track is a tribute to the fun memories had out in nature, taking the time to stop and appreciate the world around us.
